The Roman Catholic Church's Seven Deadly Errors.

1. We should be concerned that the Roman Catholic Church elevates the authority of the pope and the church councils — when speaking in their official capacity as teachers of the church — to the same level as Holy Scripture. This has led many Roman Catholics away from a personal engagement with the Scriptures into a reliance on the church — even though the church is fallible — when they ought to be relying on the Scriptures, the very word of YAHWEH, inspired and written.

2. We should be concerned that Mary — is elevated to a position, in practice, where she mediates between the people of YAHWEH and the Son of YAHWEH in a way that undermines the direct priestly ministry of Messiah between his people and YAHWEH. This elevation of Mary — beyond anything in the Scriptures, based solely on church tradition — distances the people of YAHWEH from the enjoyment of personal fellowship with Messiah and the kind of relationship and assurance they might otherwise enjoy with him.

3. We should be concerned about the teaching of baptismal regeneration — the idea that an appropriate putting of water on the baby’s head, by the very work of the water (ex opere operato, by the very operating of the thing itself, by the very work of the water in the priestly act), causes a change in the nature of the baby from lost in original sin to saved through regeneration. This notion has produced, I would say, untold ill-founded confidence in the people of YAHWEH who have little or no personal faith or relationship with Messiah or love to Yahshua, and yet, because of their baptism, believe they are heaven bound.

4. We should be concerned about the offering of so-called indulgences, which the very Pope Francis himself offered — not in some distant sixteenth-century past. It involves certain kinds of pilgrimages or special buildings or special payments that one can perform or attend so that an indulgence is granted by the pope that provides forgiveness of sins. This is an appalling detraction from the absolute uniqueness of the death of Yahshua as the provision for sins, and personal faith as the means by which that provision becomes ours.

5. We should be concerned about the confusion over the doctrine of justification by grace alone on the basis of Messiah alone through faith alone to the glory of YAHWEH alone. The Roman Catholic insistence that justification consists in the infusion of righteousness, which (as our own virtue) qualifies us to be accepted by YAHWEH, is not the same as the biblical doctrine of YAHWEH becoming 100 percent for us in the moment when by faith we are united with Messiah so that his blood and righteousness alone become the ground of that acceptance.

6. We should be concerned about the centrality of the Mass in the Roman Catholic practice, in which the bread and wine are actually transubstantiated. They become the physical body and physical blood of Yahshua so that the Master’s Supper takes on a power of salvation by the entering of the blood and the body of Yahshua into us, which it never was intended to have in the Bible. It misleads millions of what’s happening there.

7. Finally, we should be concerned about the doctrine of purgatory, in which a person after death may be given another chance of bearing some punishment so that finally he can make his way to heaven after doing appropriate penance there. The Bible holds out no such hope for those who die in unbelief. It is not found in the Scriptures.

Then there is the Trinity Doctrine - The Doctrine of Rome
Handbook for Today's Catholic, p. 11
"The mystery of the Trinity is the central doctrine of the Catholic faith. Upon it are based all the other teachings of the church."

Ratzinger, Joseph (1968. Introduction to Christianity, Munich, pp. 82, 83 ·
Professor Stuart G. Hall (former Chair of Ecclesiastical History at King's College, London, England)
„The basic form of our (Matthew 28:19 Trinitarian) profession of faith took shape during the course of the second and third centuries in connection with the ceremony of baptism. So far as its place of origin is concerned, the text (Matthew 28:19) came from the city of Rome.“

The Catholic Encyclopedia
“The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the Catholic Church in the second century.” (p. 263)

“The threefold immersion is unquestionably very ancient in the Church. ...Its object is, of course, to honor the Three Persons of the Holy Trinity in whose name it [the baptism] is conferred.” (p. 262)

My Catholic Faith. Louis LaRavoie Morrow p. 393
“Question. Why do we make the sign of the cross?

“We make the sign of the cross to express two important mysteries of the Christian religion, the Blessed Trinity and the Redemption.”

Catholic reason for keeping Sunday
“Because "it is a day dedicated by the apostles to the honor of the most Holy Trinity.”

John Paul II, Crossing the Threshold of Hope, p. 3, 1994
The leader of the Catholic church is defined by the faith as the Vicar of Jesus Christ (and is
accepted as such by believers). The Pope is considered the man on earth who "takes the place" of the Second Person of the omnipotent God of the Trinity."

“Assumption of Mary,” Life magazine, October 30, 1950, p. 51.
As Roman Catholic Graham Greene wrote, “Our opponents sometimes claim that no belief should be held dogmatically which is not explicitly stated in scripture . . . . But the Protestant Churches have themselves accepted such dogmas, as the Trinity, for which there no such precise authority in the Gospels,”

The "Trinity" Doctrine Enforced by Torture and Death
"The faithful who upheld Scriptural authority (over and above the pagan trinity compromise) were labeled “Judaizers” and were persecuted and killed." As Catholic influence spread in the middle ages across Europe and beyond, great numbers of people from many regions were forced to acknowledge acceptance of the trinity under pain of death. They spread the trinity doctrine by the edge of the sword, with infidels (heretics) routinely being slashed to death. This enforcement and submission was by the point of the sword, where Christian infidels were generally pierced to death."While not the central purpose of this book, it should be noted that the history of the trinity is indeed done of blood, murder and vicious savagery. It a history of intolerance and condemnation—of totally blind allegiance and conviction. Thousands who have lost their lives fighting for the cause of the trinity worshipped it in ignorance—never having been able to understand, let alone explain, it. Nevertheless, the trinity has survived as part of the trappings of a religious system that has sought to redefine God. To this end, this system and her wayward daughters have succeeded.
