Genesis 1:2 Is this a Trinity God Creation Account - so how many beings were involved?

~ scriptures are from the Hebraic Roots Bible, and HBR Bible Notes in italics.

William Millar's Rules for Biblical Interpretation.
Scripture must be it’s own expositor, since it is a rule of itself. If I depend on a teacher to explain it to me, and he should guess at it's meaning, or desire to have it so on account of his sectarian creed, or to be thought wise, then his guessing, desire, creed, or wisdom is my rule, not the Bible
(Psalm 19:7-11; 119:97-105; Matthew 23:8-10; 1 Cor 2:12-16; Ezekiel 34:18, 19; Luke 11:52; Malachi 2:7, 8).

“To understand doctrine, bring all the Scriptures together on the subject you wish to know; then let every word have it’s proper influence, and if you can form your theory without a contradiction, you cannot be in an error .”
(Isaiah 28:7-29; 35:8; Proverbs 19:27; Luke 24:27, 44, 45; James 5:19; 2 Peter 1:19, 20).

It has been translated ghost (2 times), Ghost [with Holy] (89), life [breath] (1), spirit [breath] (151), Spirit (137), [with Holy] (4), spiritual gift [spirit] (1), wind (1), spiritually [of the Spirit] (4).

Ancient Hebrew Word Meanings Spirit ~ ru'ahh
By Jeff A. Benner
The Hebrew word ru'ach literally means the wind and is derived from the parent root rach a prescribed path. The word rach is not found in the Biblical text but defined by the various child roots derived from it. The child roots derived from this parent root are arach, rachah and yarach. Arach is a traveler who follows a prescribed path from one place to another. Rachah is a millstone which goes round and round in the sense of following a prescribed path to crush grain into flour. Yarach is the root of yere'ach meaning the moon which follows a prescribed path in the night sky. The child root ru'ach is literally the wind that follows a prescribed path each season. By extension ru'ach means the wind of a man or what is usually translated as spirit. A man's wind is not just a spiritual entity within a man but is understood by the Ancient Hebrews as his character.

(Spirit) Ruach is defined in the following Hebrew lexicons:
Brown-Driver-Briggs, Hebrew and English Lexicon (pages 924-26):
breath; wind (kinds of winds, quarters or directions of heaven); spirit (temper, disposition, vivacity, vigour, courage, impatience, etc.); seat of emotion (desire, sorrow, trouble); the will (=lev, heart); spirit of God (activity in inspiring prophets, the ancient angel of the presence and later Shekina, divine presence).

William Holladay, A Concise Hebrew and Aramaic Lexicon of the Old Testament (pages 334-35):
air in motion, blowing; wind, what is empty or transitory, spirit, mind; breath; directions; spirit of man; mind, disposition, temper; spirit of God.

Samuel Tregelles, Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon (pages 760-61):
spirit, breath, air in motion, breeze, wind; direction or quarter of heaven; life, the vital principle; animus, rational mind, seat of affections; disposition (thinking), will and counsel, intellect; Spirit of God, Holy Spirit, divine Spirit: peculiar endowments of mind.

Alexander Harkavy, Students' Hebrew and Chaldee Dictionary of the Old Testament (pages 661-62):
air; wind, breeze; vanity; side, quarter (of heavens); breath; vital breath (spirit, life); spirit (versus flesh, invisible power of God, of inspired prophets); mind, purpose; courage.

Looking at Genesis 1:2
(claimed trinitarian) creation account,
~ remembering that all scripture is to be in harmony.

Gen 1:2 and the earth being without form and empty, and darkness on the face of the deep,
and the Spirit of Elohim moving gently on the face of the waters,

(KJV) Gen 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Grammatically, the term ‘of God’ means that it is ‘from, concerning, out of, or relating’ to God.
It is the same with ‘word of God’, ‘voice of God’, ‘mind of God’, ‘work of God’, ‘grace God’, or any other noun that precedes ‘of God.
This must include Spirit of God, or common sense is nonsense.

God in Genesis 1:1 is the word ‘Elohim’, meaning more than one (which is true)
The Father created the earth by His Son (which is true)
There are three co-equal Persons in the Trinity (an assumption)

~ Therefore: the Spirit of God in Genesis 1:2 is the Holy Spirit, the third of the three co-equal Persons in the Trinity.
This type of reasoning is used by men and women when trying to prove Sunday from the Bible, the immortality of the soul, or an ever-burning hellfire, bringing them to a false conclusion. We need to determine to read the Bible as written, and base our conclusions only on true statements and never assumptions. If the verse was not clear, compare Scripture with Scripture before making a decision.

Now if a third person is involved in creation, all other creation scriptures should be in harmony and include this third God person.
Pro 8:22 YAHWEH possessed me in the beginning of His way, from then, before His works.
Pro 8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from that which was before the earth.†
Pro 8:24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no springs heavy with water.
Pro 8:25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth;
Pro 8:26 before He had made the earth and the fields, or the highest part of the dust of the world.
Pro 8:27 When He prepared the heavens, I was there; when He set a circle on the face of the deep,
Pro 8:28 when He formed the clouds above, when He made the strong fountains of the deep,
Pro 8:29 when He gave to the sea its limit, that the waters should not pass beyond His command; when He decreed the foundations of the earth,
Pro 8:30 then I was at His side, like a master workman; and I was His delights day by day, rejoicing before Him at every time;
Pro 8:31 rejoicing in the world, His earth; and my delight was with the sons of men.

Ecc 12:1 Remember now your Creators in the days of your youth, while the evil days do not come,
or the years strike when you shall say, I have no pleasure in them;

~ Ecclesiastes 12:1 The word for “Creators” here is in the plural, indicating the creation by the Father and Son and one should seek Yahweh young in life to avoid much grief.

Interlinear Scripture Analyzer Ecclesiastes 12:1

Isa 54:5 For your Makers are your husbands; YAHWEH of Hosts is Their name;
and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the Elohim of all the earth.

~ Isaiah 54:5 The word for Makers is plural in Hebrew and more than one being at creation.

John 1:1- 4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.
He was in the beginning with Elohim.
Everything existed through His hands, and without Him, not even one thing existed of the things, which have existed.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men;

~ John 1:1 In the beginning in Hebrew is “B'resheet” and John is paralleling the book of Genesis and showing Yahshua being a part of the creation process with Yahweh the Father. The Aramaic word for 'word' is miltha and is not easily translated but can also be manifestation or substance.

~ John 1:3 John is clearly pointing to Yahshua's preexistence with the Father and also that Yahshua was with the Father creating all things.
If you look at all creation accounts in scripture there is always a duality to Elohim in creation consisting of Yah Yahweh the Father and Yahshua Yahweh His son. Yahweh is a family name. Elohim is a plural word also. (Gen_1:26, Ecc_12:1, Isa_54:5)

1Co 8:6 but to us there is one El, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him, and one Master YAHWEH, Yahshua Messiah, through whom are all things, and we by Him.

Col 1:15 - 17 who is the image of the invisible Elohim, the right of the First-born of all creation. For all things were created through Him, the things in the heavens, and the things on the earth, the visible and the invisible; whether imperial thrones, or dominions, or angelic orders, or authorities, all things were in His hand and have been created by Him. And He is before all things, and by Him all things are sustained.

Heb 1:2-3 in these last days He has spoken to us in the Son, whom He appointed heir of all; and by whom he made the worlds; for He is the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His being, and upholding all things by the power of His Word; having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high, (Psa. 110:1)

~ Hebrews 1:3 Yahshua is not Yahweh the Father, but is Yahweh the son and is seated on the right hand of Yahweh in heaven. This clearly shows two thrones and two beings, being one or united in mind, thought and purpose.
(Rom 8:34, Act 2:33; Act 7:55-56, 1Pe 3:22, Heb 8:1; Heb 10:10-13; Heb 12:2, Psa 110:1)

Heb 1:9-10 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; because of this, YAHWEH, Your Elohim, has anointed You with the oil of gladness beside Your fellows." "And, from the beginning you have laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are works of Your hands.

~ Hebrews 1:9 This verse is quoted from Psa 45:6-7 and shows that the Messiah is called Elohim and also the Messiah is a different being than Elohim the Father.

Eph 3:9 - 11 and to bring to light all, what is the fellowship of the mystery having been hidden from eternity in Elohim, the One creating all things through Yahshua Messiah, so that now to the principalities and to the authorities in heaven might be made known through the Congregation the manifold wisdom of Elohim, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Messiah Yahshua our Master,

so where is this third God person in Genesis ? or any creation scripture ....
If we re-translate the word ‘ruwach’ in Genesis 1:2, using ‘breath’ instead of ‘spirit’, we get
‘the breath of God moved upon the face of the waters’.
Or it could be ‘the wind of God moved upon the face of the waters’;
‘the tempest of God moved upon the face of the waters’. The spirit of God must parallel the other words.

Genesis 1:1-2 Other Bible versions
The Ultra-Hebraic
A translation that is somewhat surprising, although you would never know it from any of the traditional translations,
if YAHWEH creates things by speaking them into existence, the first creation has to be language and an alphabet.

1 In the beginning, Elohim created the aleph-tav, the sky and the land.
2 The earth was chaotic and formless, and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And a wind/breath from Elohim was fluttering upon the face of the waters.

So, for the origin of the alphabet, all you have to do is look to the first letter of the ancient Hebrew aleph-bet:
the letter ALEPH, which is actually YAHWEH (EL) SPEAKS.
The creation of an alphabet occurred when God first spoke.

New Jewish Version (1962)
1 When God began to create heaven and earth-
2 the earth being unformed and void, with darkness over the surface of the deep and a wind from God sweeping over the water

Young's Literal Translation
Gen 1:1  In the beginning of God's preparing the heavens and the earth
Gen 1:2  the earth hath existed waste and void, and darkness is on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God fluttering on the face of the waters,

Amplified Bible
Gen 1:1  In the beginning God (Elohim) created [by forming from nothing] the heavens and the earth. [Heb_11:3]
Gen 1:2  The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.

New English Bible (1970)
1 In the beginning of creation, when God made heaven and earth,
2 the earth was without form and void, with darkness over the face of the abyss, and a mighty wind that swept over the surface of the waters.

New American Bible (1970)
1 In the beginning, when God created the heavens and earth.
2 the earth was a formless wasteland, and darkness covered the abyss, while a mighty wind swept over the waters.

How did Elohim create the heavens and the earth?
Psalm 33:6,9 Through the Word of YAHWEH the heavens were made; and all their host were made by the breath of His mouth.

When speaking, our breath moves from our mouth into the air.
It was the same with Yahweh, except that when He spoke, creation took place,
For He spoke, and it came into being; He commanded, and it stood fast.

There is no Biblical support for a trinity God/s being involved in creation.

All things were created by His Son,
whom He has APPOINTED HEIR OF ALL THINGS,
BY WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE WORLDS.

1 Cor 15:27-28 For "He subjected all things under His feet;"
but when He says that "all things have been subjected,
it is plain that it excepts Him" (The Father) who has subjected all things to Him.
But when all things are subjected to Him,
then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One (The Father)
who has subjected all things to Him,
that YAHWEH may be all things in all.
